Japanese Players Reveal Some SF6 Season 2 Changes
The coming changes for Street Fighter 6 seem big

Amidst all the excitement for season 2 of Street Fighter 6 and the release of Akuma, many missed the announcement of an event called 'Akuma Week' which gave fans a preview of season 2.

The event which is being held at Laguna Ten Bosch in Japan, features Akuma and what has been speculated is the build for SF6 season 2. A number of Japanese players made the trip and there have been several tweets with some of the changes that they have noticed with the build along with some of the tech that Akuma has to offer.

The biggest bits of news seem to be that throw loops will still be a thing, but there will be universal pushback from a backthrow. Also, every character now has access to Drive Reversal raw, but it is -6 on block.

There have been buffs for A.K.I. while it seems Chun li has been nerfed.

With the tweets scattered, the most consistent translation seems to have come from HiFight who translated some of the tweets from Japanese players.

It should be noted that none of this is official as it is possible that more changes will be implemented before the release of the balance patch which will come on the 22nd of May along with the release of Akuma.
