Tekken 8 Releases Season 1 Roadmap, Lidia Announced

With Evo Japan 2024 coming to a close, Bandai Namco have released a trailer of what fans are to expect from the remainder of season 1 for Tekken 8. Tekken 8 came out to rave reviews which soon turned to scathing criticism as time went on as players and fans found themselves struggling to adapt to the game along with cheating issues amongst other things. Others have continued to praise the game and will be excited by what is to come next. 

The most prominent reveal was that Lidia Sobieska would be returning for Tekken 8 and will be the next DLC character after Eddy. A trailer released featuring all to come next had Lidia at the tail end. 

Other new things including a new stage known as the 'Seaside Resort', a new chapter in the story mode which might focus heavily on Eddy and his team up with Jin Kazama to save the world. A photo mode will also be added sometime in the summer which will allow players to freeze the game to take iconic shots which can be placed in galleries. 

Perhaps the most exciting thing for fans was the announcement of a balance patch which will go live tomorrow as said by Harada-san himself. This will be a great chance for the game to correct some of the wrongs that fans feel plague the game currently. 

Tekken 8 is available on Playstation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
